It is said that amoung the faeries, that the Far Darrig are the most wretched, most sluttish, slouching, jeering, mischievous phantoms... and Breun does his best to live up to that reputation. It really is in his nature. There's nothing this jerk likes better than pulling a cruel prank on anyone who comes near, or crowing about other's misfortunes.

Culture:

Far Darrig are basically rude. Their marriages that are generally short and violent, resulting in a lot of bratty children running around causing trouble. Just how they like it! When the kids hit their teens, generally their parents kick them out to annoy someone. Generally far darrig attach themselves to human groups in order to steal their garbage, but sometimes they live wild in the moors and prey on lost strangers.

Background:

   In the old days, Breun used to live a happy, simple life, pulling his tricks on the humans whenever he felt like it. All the best ones too, like the one with the corpse and the spit. But as the humans pulled further away from the world of magic, the more irritated humans became with his kind's very existence. And with the arrival of the Great Plague, the humans had enough of nasty, disease-ridden rats and turned to destroying them. Breun managed to just barely escape the Purge in Ireland, by bolting into the closest sanctuary he could find. Since then, he's moved around quite a bit... because there's really nothing a Far Darrig enjoys more than pestering people. Here's hoping that Secretum Paradisum has a higher tolerance than most.

Breun is actually kind of lonely and would like to make friends, but his natural dickish instincts drive most people away.
Breun is sensitive about his pudgey middle. Don't bring it up.
Also, very ticklish there. Don't tickle it either.
Despite living in boggy areas his entire life, he still can't swim very well.
Eats carrion.
Breun still has a gaelic accent. It sounds like rubbish impression of a scotsman and an irishman blended together.
